Honouring your loved one with dignity and sensitivity.

When the sun sets on the life of a loved one, be it someone who has lived a long and full life, or someone who has been taken earlier, the funeral service is the opportunity to make the appropriate farewells.

Beryl specialises in life-centred funerals, which recognise and pay tribute to the departed, recording and remembering the life that has been lived.   Beryl works closely with Funeral Directors, so that you can relax in the knowledge that between them, your loved one's life will be celebrated appropriately.

Beryl can guide you through the process of selecting appropriate readings and music to best reflect the loved one who has passed, and will work with you to create a celebration of your loved one's life, giving you an opportunity to grieve, to share with others, and to reflect on the life of the lost one and what is meaningful in life.   Together we can celebrate and commemorate a life in a memorable way, with honour and respect, humour and love.

The celebration of your loved one's life can become more meaningful by using symbols or rituals which were relevant to them or your lives together.

Elements such as candles, release of balloons, butterflies or doves can be incorporated into the ceremony to express your beliefs of the journey your loved one is undertaking.

The grieving process is a painful and complex event in the lives of the bereaved - and the funeral services is the single most important part of expressing grief.  It is also the first stage of the healing process, as it allows you the opportunity to express your grief.
